Best Wishes Birthday Balloon Shaker Cards

Birthday wishes shaker cards. This di-cut set is awesome. There are big balloon shapes with inside designs you can cut out and showcase. Hearts, stars, stripes. You can do big designed balloons, simple balloons, and shaker balloons. Tons of options!

I went with three great colors to make the cards focus on one each. I thought I took pictures of the cards with their respective colors, but now I can’t find those pictures. This one was Suede Shoes. What a great blue! The sequins inside is called Kitchen Sink. All products are from Catherine Pooler Designs.

This one is featuring the Be Mine color. What a fun pink! Perfect for the hearts cut out in the middle of this balloon. And finishing up, the Aquatini balloon!

What a fun set of quick and awesome cards. At least, I think. I had fun making them!

Time to Party – The Cutest Dogs Ever!

I don’t even know how to explain my love for this card and these stamps. Just look at these cuties on their vespa scooter. I mean, just loooook at them!!! What do you think their names are? Bailey and Stewie. Or maybe Lilly and Tess. Well, these are the names my children picked for them. Ha!

I did a little bit of alcohol ink coloring on the vespa and the extra details of their sweaters and packages. This stamp set – Special Delivery – has it all. Fun packages and even a little bone and glass bottle. Just what these dogs need as they race off to a party. This time, the packages didn’t make it onto the bike, though.

I used a party pack of patterned paper to bring some grounding to the card. I couldn’t love it more. Although I do love it enough to make more cards with this set. Just you wait!

Best Wishes Feathers – Catherine Pooler Designs

October became my favorite month as an adult. I don’t think I fully appreciated it as a kid… but now, I think it’s the perfect time of year. Cooler temps, beautiful colors, still enough daylight (well, kind of)… What’s not to love?

So after all of that talk, you might think I’m going to share some beautiful fall themed cards. My apologies, because this card is more of a party, less of fall. Oops!

How about all of these colors? I mean, wowza, right? I love this party theme. I stole (borrowed/was inspired by) the color combination from a patterned paper pack from Catherine Pooler Designs. The feathers are from one of her older stamp sets. If it’s not available, she also has a Zen Feather set which would look neat with this, too. I blended three different colors on each feather and then brushed the stamp to get a feathery look. Cool, right?
